We will be demanding that the government halts all new oil and gas licenses and takes the climate crisis seriously.​

Additionally, we will be calling on the Council to stop renewing the Tyseley Incinerator, the city's biggest carbon emitter set to be renewed until 2034, 4 years after Birmingham is supposed to be carbon neutral. We will demand that the council stops greenwashing and actually gets serious about the climate.
